The Communist Party is supported solely and only by its members and supporters – working people like you.
Your contributions pay for travel and organizing across Canada, for publishing booklets and printing leaflets, for public speaking tours, educational events and materials, seminars and public meetings, our recruiting drives, and campaigns. All of this and more is paid for by your donations.
We do not accept corporate sponsorships nor do we have the same ability to raise funds as the big political parties. We couldn’t do the work we do without the generous financial and political support of friends and members who know why their support is so important.
Tax Rebates Make Donations Stretch
The Communist Party of Canada is an official registered political party with Elections Canada, and your donation is therefore eligible for a tax deductible receipt. Thanks to these generous tax rebates available from Revenue Canada for political donations, contributors can make their donations stretch up to four times more than they’ll actually cost, after rebates are applied.
